There's tons of current bands that take the 80s and/or more traditional sound and make it their own. It's a very experimental world and it's great that few bands sound the same. Like Ghost BC-- they're more like Scooby Doo rock, but they ALSO has gay devil worship!

Not my taste, those two, but I personally feel that the based metal scene is ripe for the taking.
Even most Metallica stuff is pretty based tbh. Pentagram's sound is /it/, if it werent for the gay devil worship stuff.
