At least with respect to fentanyl, it is heavily pushed and encouraged by globohomo as a way of murdering white middle America. Yes, China manufactures it and exports it often through Mexico, but it is supported and encouraged by the CIA and others within the deep state. How else does one explain why the White House proposed removing penalties for fentanyl trafficking-related offenses? https://www.foxnews.com/politics/white-house-fentanyl-penalties

One may also note curiously that America withdrew from Afghanistan - the heroin producer of the world - once fentanyl production and distribution really took off...

You are much more conservative than I am! I'm not particularly fond of methamphetamine, heroin, or most hard drugs, but CBD has beneficial effects, THC is relatively mild, and besides being a remarkable entheogen, psilocybin has great theraputic potential as a natural anxiolytic and antidepressant.

CBD is certainly better than a vape. (Anything is better than a vape, really.)

I do think that one day, with enough research, there will be a way to take natural drugs, or even synthetic ones, and create strands that have minimal to no drawbacks. Then, they could be genuinely safe medicines for people to take, once different toxins are removed.

If I recall correctly, CBD and psilocybin already appear to be genuinely safe. Although finding a couple of studies after 5 minutes can always misrepresent the overall research stream, I do see two very recent, large scale studies here:

--> Finding: "No adverse treatment-related effects up to the highest doses tested."

--> Finding: "Thus far, there have been no significant adverse clinical events from psilocybin and there also have been no verifiable recorded deaths reported."

Reports of women blinding themselves on Methamphetamine are another story - meth is dangerous. In a sense, though, even methamphetamine isn't the real problem. People who retreat to the bathroom to cut themselves don't think cutting is healthy; people who jump off of buildings don't think eating pavement is healthy. There are people who find themselves drawn into the world of methamphetamines for other reasons, but broadly speaking, methamphetamine users are people who don't really like being alive. Take away methamphetamines, and they'll still have access to knives and tall buildings.

In other words, drugs ravage society because life is harder than many people want to admit: https://thingstoread.substack.com/p/every-cradle-is-a-grave

People use various substances because they work.

The majority of substances that have been deemed contraband are a threat to big Pharma. That’s the bottom line.

People take illicit substances because they work. They should be completely legalized regulated taxed and stigma removed. That is, if you care about freedom liberty and justice for all. It is not the states duty to legislate what the church cannot persuade.

E and the Quetion of prohibition is morally bankrupt and intentionally stupid.

It is the narrative of the industrial incarceration complex and all of the integrity bereft ancillary associates.

Prohibition, of every kind is Most definitely a major contributor to our Third World shit hole status

Fully with you on this - mind altering drugs should not be taken lightly, or at all...

Legalization has not worked in Canada.

With regards to Marijuana, criminal gangs like the Hell's Angels just grow more and sell cheaper.

As for opiods, And the like, Oregon and British Columbia, both on the west coast of North America, are rethinking their position of a laissez faire attitude with regards to hard drugs.

A more " humain" approach.does not seem to be working.

Fuck I have to come back to the freight is so goddamn stupid. All the tragedies you speak of could’ve easily been prevented with a decriminalized system. Prohibition never worked. Never has, never will. Why are you so scared of true freedom and best policy practice? Do you have big money in the industrial incarceration complex? Fentanyl smuggling?

Perhaps I will address pharmaceutical companies and their destruction of the Hippocratic Oath some time in the future. Thanks for the suggestion.
